FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that new multi-bank FX marketplace operator MillTechFX has promoted Aline Ungewiss to the position of Marketing Director.

As was also exclusively reported by FNG last year, Aline Ungewiss joined MillTechFX as Senior Marketing Lead in July 2021. She had been with ETX Capital since 2016, joining as Head of Marketing Operations and then promoted to Head of Marketing in 2019. Her departure from ETX wasn’t too surprising, since the company went outside to hire former OANDA and FXTM marketing executive Nandik Barbhaiya as CMO soon after Switzerland’s Guru Capital completed its takeover of ETX late last year. However Nandik Barbhaiya didn’t last long at ETX, and has since left.

Prior to joining ETX Ms. Ungewiss worked in a variety of marketing roles for Paysafe, TechTarget, and Urban Outfitters.

MillTechFX was recently launched by Millennium Global, one of the world’s largest currency managers, as an independent, comparative multi-bank FX marketplace which reduces FX execution costs and operational burdens. The company has backing from a number of investors, including Sir Ronald Cohen, widely known as ‘the father of British venture capital’.
