FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that CySEC licensed Retail FX and CFDs broker Skilling is continuing its hiring spree, with its latest addition being London based Ana Cavero, who will be Skilling’s new Global Head of Product.

Ana Cavero joins Skilling after spending three years at StoneX, where she was Product Manager – Global Onboarding, leading the company’s global retail onboarding strategy at its City Index and FOREX.com retail trading brands.

Other recent hires at Skilling include Judita Simkeviciute (also an ex StoneX employee) to head Compliance, and David Hodge, former OANDA UK/Europe CEO and Global Chief Revenue Officer, who joined Skilling earlier this year as CMO.

Time for change… 😊

I’ve had the most exciting 2.5 years leading product onboarding optimisation and innovation at StoneX Retail. Amongst many other initiatives, I’m particularly proud of having had the opportunity to redefine and redesign multiple customers’ journeys, so they could focus on what’s important to them: trading. The benefit of these changes to the business was that I increased conversions, in addition to reducing costs and timings for our operations and processes. These optimisations included more automation, integrations, new vendors, case prioritisation logic, development of internal platforms, APIs and content creation, to mention a few.

This role brought me a great learning curve that helped me take my skills and resilience to the next level. We survived and thrived during a pandemic, and that’s not something every company can say. I got the support, guidance, teachings and trust from some of the best professionals in the FinTech industry, and I’ll hold dear the friendships and relationships that I’ve built!! I’ll be missing you all until we meet again! Shout out to my Scrum Team, other product teams, marketing, regional teams, KYC, customer support, compliance and analytics! 🙌🏼🥰🙌🏼

Now, after a well deserved break traveling all over Egypt and ‘recharging my batteries’ by the Red Sea, I’m proud to share that next week I’ll be joining Skilling as their Global Head of Product. I’ll be developing this new function with a growth mindset, defining the development processes within the agile framework, maximising the value in a truly product-led organisation and hopefully taking its world-class trading offering to a market-leading position! 📈🔝

I can’t emphasise enough how excited I am to bring my knowledge and experience to this role! Bring it on!
