Exclusive: Saxo Bank risk governance head Laura Berg Deleuran moves to Jyske Bank
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Saxo Bank Director, Head of Risk Governance, Framework and Reporting Laura A. Berg Deleuran has left the company to join Danish bank Jyske Bank.
Laura A. Berg Deleuran, who had been with Saxo Bank for 11 years in the online broker’s Copenhagen headquarters, first joined Saxo in 2014 as Senior Associate – Operational Risk.
The move comes as a number of longtime senior Saxo Bank executives have left the company over the past number of months, ahead of the completion of Saxo Bank’s sale to the Safra Group. Announced early last year, the deal is expected to close during 2026. Other executives leaving Saxo have included Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Stig Christensen, Customer Director Thomas Dam, Saxo UK’s Dan Squires (to become CCO at ADSS), Asia marketing head Nicolò Pagliari, and UK marketing head Anaam Raza.
Laura posted the following note on social media regarding her departure from Saxo Bank.
Today marks the end of my 11 years with Saxo Bank. I’m tremendously grateful to my fantastic team and all my colleagues in Group Non-Financial Risk Management and across the bank for the great experiences, which have allowed me to grow professionally and personally.
At the same time, I’m excited to start a new chapter at Jyske Bank on Monday, and I’m looking forward to working with new colleagues and leveraging my experience in my new role.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of my Saxo Bank journey, and I hope to bring the same dedication and passion to Jyske Bank.
