FNG Exclusive… Two CFD brokers which have seen a lot of management changes lately (mainly of the departing variety) have made an exchange, with OANDA hiring IG Group executive Karolina Jasica, as Global Compliance Officer.

Karolina Jasica is based in Krakow, Poland, and will report to Prague based OANDA Chief Legal Officer Eva Svobodova.

Karolina Jasica spent the past four years with IG Group (LON:IGG), as Head of Compliance Monitoring, Assurance and Regulated Complaints. She previously spent 15 years with State Street, in both Ireland and Poland, in a variety of compliance related roles.

OANDA has remade much of its senior management team following the company’s acquisition late last year by prop trading firm FTMO, and the installation of FTMO co-founders Otakar Šuffner and Marek Vašíček as Co-CEOs of OANDA. IG Group is in the midst of a large wave of layoffs, and some disappointing results which have sent IG Group shares tumbling.
