Exclusive: Mizuho hires UBS exec Alex Manakyan as Head of FX Trading Asia
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Japanese banking giant Mizuho has hired Alex Manakyan as Head of FX Trading Asia (ex Japan). Alex will be based out of Mizuho’s Singapore office for his new role at the company.
Alex Manakyan spent more than 11 years at Credit Suisse in Singapore, ending his tenure at Credit Suisse as Global Head of FX & Metals Spot Trading, before leaving earlier this year to UBS Singapore, as a senior executive in its FX & Metals Trading group. He had also previously worked at BNP Paribas.
