Exclusive: Match-Trade Head of Platform Alexis Droussiotis departs
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Alexis Droussiotis, Head of Platform at broker tech provider Match-Trade Technologies, has left the company.
Alexis Droussiotis joined Match-Trade in 2023 in its Cyprus office, and took over as Head of Platform for Match-Trade’s eponymous multi-asset trading platform, Match-Trader. Prior to his time at Match-Trade, Alexis spent six years at MT4/MT5 solutions provider PrimeXM, the last three as the company’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). Before joining PrimeXM in 2017 Alexis worked at SpotOption, Hoch Capital, Alpari, FXTM, and Windsor Brokers, dating back to 2009, in a variety of IT related roles.
Alexis posted the following note today on social media regarding his decision to leave Match-Trade.
I’ve spent the past 2.5+ years navigating platform growth within an evolving trading-technology landscape. It’s been a deeply rewarding period, filled with meaningful collaborations with colleagues, partners and clients worldwide.
With the arrival of 2026, I decided that it’s time to close this amazing chapter and step down from my role as Head of Platform at Match-Trade Technologies.
Next up is taking time to recenter, recalibrate priorities and build on the strengths and perspectives developed along the way. I believe all the experiences we gain open the door to new opportunities and directions; ones that I’m personally excited to explore.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a meaningful break if I didn’t take advantage of this time to focus on my family. Travel has always been central to how we reconnect as a family and broaden our children’s view of the world, so I truly can’t wait to explore China next month with my wife and two boys. At long last for pleasure instead of business.
As for what’s next professionally, I’m excited and curious to see where this new chapter leads.
