Exclusive: M4Markets BizDev head Alexandra Dinu departs
FNG Exclusive… Just a day after FNG reported that Nick Jay has left his position as Chief Business Development Officer at Cyprus based Retail FX and CFDs broker M4Markets, FNG has now learned that M4Markets’ other senior BizDev officer, Global Head of Business Development Alexandra Dinu, has also left the company.
Alexandra Dinu (along with Nick Jay) is one of a number of experienced FX industry executives who had joined together to help launch M4Markets as a new brokerage brand in 2020. Prior to M4Markets Alexandra worked as a brand manager at IronFX, and as branch manager (Bulgaria) and head of sales at binary options broker Banc de Binary, dating back to 2012.
M4Markets began life in 2020 as an offshore (Seychelles) FX/CFDs brand, but late last year acquired CySEC licensed company ICC Intercertus Capital Ltd (and its CIF license), which it has since renamed Harindale Ltd. ICC used to operate the Axiance brand, and before that EverFX. M4Markets was established by Deepak Jassal, formerly an investment banker with HSBC, KPMG and UBS, and by Theofanis Nakos, a fixed income sales specialist.

Offshore only brands are facing intense competition in the form of rebates, rev shares , unlimited leverage and many other factors . Offshore only brands will be limited to what they can do in a few years once all the various island regulators catch on to the runaway train of abuse .
The firms that have adapted their risk models , compensation, operating structures and other changes now will be the ones that make it and thrive as a good chunk of this market will be forced to consolidate in a few years.
The industry has not drastically moved off the MetaQuotes stack still , same product different skin . M4 is suffering from the same fate many others are unless they retool the business completely which is never a short process.
