FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime IG Group executive, and its Directeur Général in France, Ambroise Lion, has left the company.

Ambroise Lion had been with London based IG Group for 16 years, joining initially in 2010 in derivative product sales in IG’s Paris office before being named as Commercial Director for IG Group in France in 2014. In 2016 Ambroise was promoted to Deputy Managing Director France and Luxembourg, and then in 2019 to Directeur Général (or General Manager).

From 2021 until earlier this year Ambroise also served as President of AFCOPSI (Association Française des Courtiers et Prestataires de Services d’Investissement), the French Association of Brokers and Investment Service Providers.
