Exclusive: IG Group’s Head of Singapore Sebastian Jones departs

FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime IG Group (LON:IGG) executive Sebastian Jones has left the company.

Sebastian Jones had been with IG Group in its Singapore office since 2017, initially joining as Senior Legal Counsel – Asia Pacific. He was promoted to the role of Head of Singapore in early 2024. Prior to joining IG, Sebastian was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He has also previously worked at Citibank and JP Morgan, after beginning his career as a lawyer at New Zealand law firm Bell Gully. Sebastian holds LLB and BCom Finance degrees from the University of Otago in New Zealand.

We’d note that late last year IG Group hired former Moomoo CEO Gavin Chia as CEO of IG Singapore.
