Exclusive: Harry Campbell-Lamerton steps off Valutrades Board
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime Valutrades executive and board member Harry Campbell-Lamerton has parted ways with the company, stepping down from Valutrades’ Board of Directors.
Harry Campbell-Lamerton joined Valutrades in 2018 and served as the company’s #2 executive and Chief Operating Officer (COO) from 2018-2021. In early 2022 he returned to Valutrades as a non executive director, as was also exclusively reported at the time here at FNG. Prior to his time at Valutrades, Harry worked at ADS Securities, and at London Capital Group.
We understand that Mr. Campbell-Lamerton’s decision to leave the Valutrades board was due to a new executive position (outside the FX & CFDs sector) he has accepted, which precludes him from holding any outside roles in the finance industry.
FNG spoke with Valutrades CEO Graeme Watkins, who commented,
“We would like to thank Harry for his invaluable assistance and wish him well in his future endeavours. Over the last two years Harry has helped guide our business strategy culminating in our recent launch of a new website and client area and imminent launch of new mobile apps.”
Valutrades is a London based, FCA regulated online broker run since 2015 by CEO Graeme Watkins. The company went through a rebranding in 2023 after posting strong results for its most recent fiscal year (2022), with Revenues up 47% to £6.5 million and Net Profit of £735K, versus a £472K loss the prior year. Valutrades is controlled by Indonesian investors Aman Lakhiani and Anil Bahirwani.
