Exclusive: GTCFX hires Match-Prime alum Ahmed Fouad to head Institutional Sales
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker GTCFX has hired experienced MENA region industry executive Ahmed Fouad, as the company’s new Global Head of Institutional Sales.
Ahmed Fouad joins GTCFX in Dubai following a two year stint as Head of MENA for CySEC licensed institutional focused broker Match-Prime Liquidity, before leaving Match-Prime late last year, as was also exclusively reported at the time here at FNG. He has also previously worked at Leverate, ATFX, GKFX (now Trive), MubasherTrade, and ICN.com.
This marks the second senior hire by GTCFX in as many months, with the company recently adding Alpari’s Mikhail Seliverstov as Chief Commercial Officer.
GTCFX is part of the GTC Group, which operates a number of CFDs trading brands including ASIC licensed GTC Global Australia Pty Ltd (although its website at gtcau.com.au seems to be under construction), UAE SCA regulated GTC Multi Trading DMCC, and offshore entities in Mauritius and Vanuatu which operate the gtcfx.com website. The GTC Group is run from Dubai led by Managing Partner Jack Zheng.
