FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that the new offshore CFDs broker launched by former iSAM Securities co-founder Jonathan Brewer, JT Markets, has hired experienced industry executive Fred Gewirtz, as Sales Director.

Fred Gewirtz joins JT Markets from Sweden based online broker Scandinavian Capital Markets (SCM), where he was Head of Institutional Liquidity for the past two years. (We’d note that longtime Scandinavian partner Michael Buchbinder also recently left the company, as was also exclusively reported here at FNG.) From 2017-2023 Fred worked with Jonathan Brewer at iSAM Securities (then known as iS Prime), as Head of Sales for the company’s iS Risk Analytics unit. He also worked previously as Head of Business Development at ThinkLiquidity, which was acquired by iS Risk Analytics.

After leaving the liquidity and risk analytics company they founded and ran for nearly a decade at the beginning of 2023, Jonathan Brewer and Raj Sitlani founded and co-own a company called JT Core Services Limited. JT Core effectively operates offshore (Seychelles domiciled) broker JT Markets (website jtmarkets.trade), and also trader education website Forex Masterclass (website forexmasterclass.com).

Other executives who have joined the JT Markets team include CEO Trevor Barwell (former Capital Index CEO), and CMO David Aspinall (ex Learn to Trade).
