FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime Sucden Financial executive Gavin Parker has joined institutional broker and market making firm Marex Group plc (NASDAQ:MRX), as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Marex’s new Abu Dhabi unit, Marex Capital (AD) Limited.

Gavin Parker worked at execution, clearing and liquidity provider Sucden Financial for 17 years in London, before leaving the company last year. From 2015-2024 he served as Sucden’s COO, holding full operational responsibility over IT, Back Office Operations, and Client Services. He had also previously worked at Trading Technologies, ION Trading, RTS Realtime Systems, Fortis Bank, and Mizuho.

London based Marex recently expanded in the MENA region acquiring Abu Dhabi based clearing, execution and risk management company Aarna Capital, providing Marex with additional capabilities in a new location.
