FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that gold and silver based payments system company Kinesis Money has hired longtime FX and payments industry executive Martins Skromans as its new Business Development Director for Europe.

Martins Skromans spent the past year and a half at Cyprus based payments systems provider BridgerPay, where he was Business Manager, focusing mainly on FX and CFD industry clients. He joined BridgerPay last year, as was also exclusively reported at the time here at FNG, from rival payments fintech company Lanistar, where he was COO. Prior to Lanistar Martins served as Head of Business Development for now-defunct binary options platform provider O-Systems for five years. He had also previously worked at IronFX and at AGM Markets in various client-facing roles.

Kinesis, which operates from offices in London, Brisbane, and Istanbul, re-introduces physical gold and silver bullion as currencies that integrate with today’s online banking and payment solutions. Kinesis currencies are based 1:1 on allocated physical gold and silver, bringing back a true store of value to the global economy and rewarding all who participate.

Martins Skromans shared the following thoughts today on social media regarding both his departure from BridgerPay, and joining Kinesis.
