Exclusive: BDSwiss hires HFM exec Nicolas Morphitis as Head of Bus Dev
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Cyprus based Retail FX and CFDs broker BDSwiss has continued to remake its management team, making a second senior hire from rival broker HotForex / HF Markets (HFM.com) in as many months.
Joining BDSwiss from HFM is Nicolas Morphitis, who will become BDSwiss’ new Global Head of Business Development. Nicolas spent the past three years at HFM, as Regional Head of Business Development. At HFM he had reported to the company’s (former) Head Of Business Development Andreas Andreou, who also joined BDSwiss as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) last month, as was also reported exclusively at the time by FNG.
At BDSwiss Nicolas Morphitis will effectively replace the role of former Bus Dev head Costa Joannides, who left the company mid last year.
As noted above BDSwiss has undergone an almost total remake of its management C-Suite over the past year, as the company has refocused away from the EU and towards clients from the MENA, LATAM and APAC regions. These changes have included bringing on board a new CEO in Nicolas Shamtanis, and some of the other aforementioned changes.
