Dan Gladding joins ETX Capital as Chief Risk Officer
London based FX and CFDs broker ETX Capital is continuing its management makeover following the recent acquisition of the company by Swiss fintech fund Guru Capital SA. The latest hire is Dan Gladding, who has joined ETX as Chief Risk Officer.
Beginning his career at IG Index in 2004, and having held various senior positions since then, Dan Gladding brings with him years of expertise in both risk and operations. He went on to manage the Options Desk at GFT Global Markets for three years and spent another five at GAIN Capital as their VP of Quantitative Analytics.
Most recently, Dan served as the Head of Risk at Admiral Markets, as well as holding a seat as a Director on its board. Prior to that, Daniel was the COO and a Director at Capital Index.
Dan Gladding said of his new role and position:
“Joining ETX Capital as Chief Risk Officer represents an exciting challenge for me, as we look to execute on the strategic vision mapped out by Ryan Nettles and Luca Merolla of Guru Capital. It’s also a pleasure to join this newly formed executive team which is full of talented individuals and I look to the future at ETX with much optimism.”
ETX said that it is confident that Dan will be a valuable addition to the team and look forward to seeing all that he brings to the table. Phil Adler, CEO of ETX Capital adds further:
“Speaking on behalf of the ETX Executive Team, we are delighted that Daniel Gladding has chosen to join ETX as Chief Risk Officer. Daniel brings great experience in data analytics, operational issues, the regulatory environment and of course risk management at an exciting time in the development of ETX under the new ownership of Guru Capital.”
