FNG has learned that Bryan Seegers, Director eFX Business Development at market maker Citadel Securities, has resigned his position at the company.

Bryan Seegers had been with Citadel, in its New York office, since 2019. Prior to Citadel, Bryan was Senior Vice President eFX at investment bank Jefferies, responsible for Global eFX Trading, Algo Execution and Liquidity Management. Bryan has also previously worked at Retail FX and CFD brokers ADSS in Abu Dhabi (where he was Co-Head Global eFX), Alpari, and MultiBank.

Bryan posted the following note today on social media regarding his departure from Citadel.

After ~6 years at Citadel Securities I have decided to resign from the firm.

It was not an easy decision leaving a successful business that I am proud to have been a part of building from the ground up.

I want to thank Joe and Kevin for their mentorship and support in bringing our vision to life. More importantly, I want thank our clients and partners for their trust in our team.

Launching an innovative product alongside such a strong team will always be one of my greatest career successes.

I will be spending the summer with my family on a long overdue vacation from the markets. I look forward to reconnecting soon!
