FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Broadway Technology’s London based Head of Sales Evelina Rosenstein has left the company, and joined Capitolis as Sales Manager. At Capitolis she will report to SVP and Global Head of Sales Ben Tobin.

Capitolis is a VC-backed, institutional trading optimization company focused on FX which was established by former EBS BrokerTec CEO Gil Mandelzis in 2017. Capitolis’ SaaS platform helps clients eliminate unnecessary positions and find the most suitable party to hold the remaining positions – freeing up capital and removing barriers that would otherwise restrict trading.

To date, Capitolis claims to have eliminated trillions of dollars in overall positions for more than 50 financial institutions, including many of the top global and regional banks and leading buy-side firms. The company raised a $40 million Series B funding round in November 2019 led by Spark Capital and SVB Capital, with participation from existing investors Index Ventures, Sequoia Capital and S Capital. It also recently announced an undisclosed sized strategic investment from Citi, JP Morgan and State Street.

Evelina Rosenstein has been working in eFX sales for more than a decade. Before joining trading solutions provider Broadway in 2018 she was Executive Director – Sales and New Business at forex ECN FXSpotStream from 2015-2018. From 2005-2014 she worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in eFX and FX Algo Sales.
