Beeks grants option over 195,000 shares to CFO Fraser McDonald
Beeks Financial Cloud Group plc (LON:BKS), a cloud computing and connectivity provider for financial markets, has announced that on 26 November 2021 options over a total of 2,273,000 ordinary shares of £0.00125 in the company were granted under the Beeks Financial Cloud Employee Share Option Plan.
An option over 195,000 shares was awarded to Fraser McDonald, Chief Financial Officer of the Company and a person discharging managerial responsibilities.
Options were also granted over 2,078,000 shares to certain employees of the Company, each of whom are not persons discharging managerial responsibilities.
The PDMR Options vest after three years and the Employee Options vest over 2 years to 3 years from the date of grant with an exercise price of £0.00125, subject to challenging performance conditions being met.
Fraser McDonald has over 17 years’ experience in finance, management and consulting roles. Having commenced his finance career and management accountancy training (CIMA) with National Australia Group, he has gained experience working for global organisations such as Royal BAM Group, Lactalis Mclelland, and Serco Group PLC across different industries including Banking, Manufacturing, and Construction. Fraser has been in the Technology sector since 2009, where he has held senior roles including Head of Finance and Commercial Manager at ACCESS LLP (subsidiary of Serco Group PLC).
Mr McDonald joined Beeks on a consultancy basis in March 2016 to support the company through the AIM admission process, before being appointed on a permanent basis as Group Financial Controller in March 2017, and then Chief Financial Officer in October 2018.
Fraser McDonald has a BA (Hons) in Finance from the University of Strathclyde, and a PgDip in Information Technology from the University of Paisley.
