Andreas Wigstrom promoted to Managing Director at LMAX Global
FX and crypto institutional execution venue LMAX Group has announced that it has appointed Andreas Wigstrom to the newly created role of Managing Director for LMAX Global, the Group’s regulated broker. Andreas Wigstrom assumes responsibility for sales and distribution of the LMAX Global offering worldwide.
LMAX Global is a regulated broker for FX, metals and commodities. Servicing retail brokers and professional traders, LMAX Global offers access to deep institutional firm limit order liquidity, tight spreads and transparent, precise execution. Andreas Wigstrom joined LMAX Group in 2010, and over the course of the last decade has been integral to driving growth in EMEA and Japan, consistently delivering outstanding results in terms of client onboarding, retention, growth in volumes and revenues.

Private investment firm J.C. Flowers & Co. LLC recently bought a 30% stake in LMAX Group for cash consideration of $300 million, valuing LMAX Group at $1 billion.
