LME delists Los Angeles as delivery point
The London Metal Exchange (LME) has issued a notice detailing the delisting of Los Angeles as an LME delivery point.
LME practice has been that if a location ceases to have any LME approved facilities therein, it should be delisted as a delivery point. Los Angeles, listed for primary aluminium, NASAAC, nickel, lead, tin, and special high-grade zinc, no longer has any approved warehouses and is therefore delisted as an LME delivery point with immediate effect.
Market users seeking US-based warranting are reminded that Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit, Mobile, New Orleans, Owensboro, and Toledo continue to be LME-listed locations.
