CME Clearing to migrate MQ infrastructure to cloud-based technology
International derivatives marketplace CME Group has announced that CME Clearing is migrating MQ infrastructure to cloud-based technology.
This change is set to allow for greater resilience, streamlined enhancements, and the ability to support any upcoming supplemental trading hours. This change will require all firms to migrate their Network connections to point to the new infrastructure.
CME Clearing plans to start with firms that are interested in supporting supplemental trading hours. Those firms should target completing their migration by the end of April 2026. The target for all other firms to complete this migration is June 2026.
Starting Monday, March 30, 2026, the migration process can begin for Production Connections/Queues.
