Cboe Options Exchange to allow trading of RUT Index Options during Global Trading Hours

Effective trade date February 9, 2026, Cboe Options Exchange (C1) will allow trading of RUT Index Options during Global Trading Hours (GTH).

Currently, RUT and RUTW options cannot be traded during GTH. On the effective trade date, trading of RUT and RUTW options will be enabled in GTH. The GTH session runs from 8:15 p.m. ET to 9:25 a.m. ET.

MRUT index options will continue to trade during RTH only and will not be eligible for GTH trading.

This functionality is currently available for testing in the C1 certification environment.
