Cboe Europe updates on wind-down of CEDX exchange service
Cboe Europe BV has provided an update on its plans to wind down its Cboe Europe Derivatives (CEDX) exchange service.
Effective January 12, 2026, all CEDX products will be set to ‘Close Only’ and any products with no Open Interest will be placed into a Trading Halt and subsequently delisted.
By February 20, 2026, any remaining open positions will be cash-settled at fair market value and the Liquidity Provision Program for CEDX Equity Options will be terminated.
No cancellation process is required for logical ports as the CEDX exchange service will be decommissioned effective Monday 23rd February 2026.

Cboe commented:
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank our partners, customers and stakeholders in CEDX for their support and collaboration, which helped us positively shape the European derivatives landscape”.
