Xetra adds crypto ETNs on Cardano, Stellar, Tezos and a crypto basket index
Deutsche Börse has announced that it is further expanding its offering of centrally cleared ETNs, as 21Shares adds six ETNs to its product range on Xetra.
Since Thursday, six new Exchange Traded Notes (ETNs) on cryptocurrencies from the provider 21Shares have been tradable via Deutsche Börse’s Xetra and Börse Frankfurt. These offer investors access to the performance of Cardano, Stellar and Tezos, as well as a crypto basket index for the first time. The latter tracks the performance of a basket of cryptocurrencies currently consisting of Bitcoin, Polkadot, Ethereum, Cosmos and Cardano. In addition, two ETNs enable participation in the performance of Polkadot and Solana.
All 21Shares ETNs are backed by the respective cryptocurrency.
Investors now have 25 crypto ETNs from six issuers on ten cryptocurrencies and a crypto basket index at their disposal on Xetra. With an average monthly order book turnover of €900 million, Deutsche Börse’s Xetra is also a market leader in the trading of crypto ETNs in Europe.
