eToro enables staking of $ATOM and $DOT
Online broker eToro has enabled staking of $ATOM (Cosmos) and $DOT (Polkadot) on it platform.
This way, there are now even more opportunities to earn rewards by HODLing your crypto.
Staking of $DOT and $ATOM adds to staking of $SOL (Solana), $ADA (Cardano), $NEAR (Near Protocol), $POL (Polygon Ecosystem (ex Matic)), $ETH (Ethereum), and $TRX (TRON).
Staking is automatically enabled for users in most regions. In the EU, you’ll need to opt in—unless you already held staked assets before March 23, 2025, in which case they will continue as before.
Staking Ethereum (ETH) requires a separate opt-in, no matter where you’re based.
To manage your staking:
- Go to your eToro investment portfolio.
- Click Settings > Trading > Crypto Staking Program.
- Toggle the switch to ON/OFF.
