Binance announces changes to its advertising policy
Starting from March 9, 2026 03:00 (UTC), Binance will cancel any referral commissions if it detects that referrals were generated through prohibited advertising methods, including the use of search engine ads or unauthorized third-party sites.
The prohibited methods include:
1. Redirecting users from third-party websites or social media accounts that imitate Binance, including but not limited to:
- Pages resembling Binance.com with excessive Binance logos and/or related content;
- Accounts impersonating Binance’s official social media profiles (X, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, etc);
- Redirected from URLs that are similar to Binance official domain – (www.binance.com), such as “www.binance.xxx.com”;
- Redirected from any other unofficial third-party URLs.
2. Posting Binance referral links as advertisements on search engines, such as Google, Bing, and others.
To ensure transparency, details of referral invalidations will be displayed directly on the Referral dashboard.
Binance’s system will continuously monitor and detect such activities. Once a violation is confirmed, the referring account will be disqualified from receiving any commissions associated with referrals obtained through these prohibited methods.
