UK based online trading firm IG Group (LON:IGG) has announced that it has hired Gavin Chia, as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at IG Singapore.

He will report to Matt Macklin, Managing Director of IG Asia Pacific & Middle East.

Gavin Chia joins IG from Tencent-backed digital broker Moomoo in Singapore, where he spent the past five years, including the past two as CEO. He had also previously worked at PhillipCapital where he was Head of Corporate Development (APAC), at CIMB Group, and at IG rival CMC Markets in Singapore.

Gavin commented in a social media post,
