North Pacific Securities to provide connection to CONNEQTOR
North Pacific Securities Co., Ltd has joined the list of brokers providing connection to CONNEQTOR, the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) announced today.
This brings the number of brokers that offer CONNEQTOR to institutional investors to 21.
As a member of the North Pacific Bank Group, North Pacific Securities Co.,Ltd. provides regionally focused sales services that accurately meet customer needs through relationships rooted in Hokkaido.
With the company’s new connection to CONNEQTOR, institutional investors primarily based in Hokkaido who use North Pacific Securities Co.,Ltd. will now be able to execute ETF transactions, even large-scale ones, more quickly and at better prices.
Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) launched the RFQ (Request For Quote) platform, CONNEQTOR, in February 2021 with the aim of improving liquidity in the ETF market.
CONNEQTOR is a TSE RFQ platform that enables investors to trade ETFs quickly.
Since its launch in February 2021, CONNEQTOR has continuously improved to make ETF trading in Japan faster and better priced. Users can reduce transaction costs and improve operational efficiency by trading at the best prices offered in real time through this platform. As of the end of July 2025, CONNEQTOR is used by approximately 300 institutional investors, who can request quotes from market makers around the world simultaneously and trade ETFs quickly without assuming counterparty risk.
In April 2025, the total monthly trading value through CONNEQTOR exceeded 300 billion yen.
