ASX Managing Director and CEO Helen Lofthouse has confirmed that Group Executive Listings Blair Beaton has decided to depart the business following an extended period of personal leave.

Mr Beaton joined ASX in 2017 as Chief Strategy Officer and was appointed Group Executive, Listings in August 2022. In leading Listings Mr Beaton was responsible for the origination of listed primary and secondary equity and investment products.

During the time Mr Beaton was on leave, Group Executive Markets Darren Yip had been providing support and oversight of the Listings business. With Mr Beaton now having decided to step down, ASX will bring Listings together with Markets under Mr Yip’s leadership.

This change is effective immediately.
