Exclusive: Saxo UK marketing head Anaam Raza leaves for BCG
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime Saxo Bank executive Anaam Raza has left the Retail FX and CFDs broker, to join Boston Consulting Group (BCG), as Editorial Strategy Director in BCG’s London office.
Anaam Raza had been with Saxo Bank for four years, serving as Head of Marketing and PR at Saxo UK, with responsibility for defining the UK marketing strategy and leading all digital and offline marketing activity for Saxo UK.
The move comes soon after Saxo Bank was sold to Safra group Swiss private banking arm J. Safra Sarasin Group (deal still pending regulatory approval), and comes amidst a number of departures at Saxo Bank, in London and globally.
Anaam posted the following note about her move to BCG on social media.
Excited to share some personal news: After three and half great years at leading the marketing team at Saxo UK, I’m thrilled to be joining Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as an Editorial Strategy Director.
I’ve always thrived in intellectually stimulating environments, and this role brings together so many of the things I care deeply about: sharp thinking, strong storytelling and the opportunity to collaborate with brilliant minds across Editorial, Marketing and Media teams around the globe.
I’ll be working with BCG’s leading experts to examine the most pressing trends through a macro lens, unpack the implications of emerging technologies that touch every sector and help shape how BCG communicates these insights that really matter.
A heartfelt thank you to Dan Coyne and Paul Michelman for the warm welcome – can’t wait to get started.
