Traders Trust COO Todor Georgiev leaves to launch prop trading firm Funded7
FNG has learned that longtime FX and CFDs industry executive Todor Georgiev has left his role as Chief Operations Officer (COO) at CySEC licensed retail broker Traders Trust, to launch a new prop trading brand called Funded7.
Todor Georgiev was hired as COO of Traders Trust in 2023, from rival broker FXGlobe, where he was also COO. He had joined FXGlobe less than a year prior, after worked at Tixee and Exness, in a variety of management and compliance roles.
Todor Georgiev becomes the latest in a long line of FX and CFDs industry managers who have decided to try and launch their own prop trading brand, or join existing prop firms, including former BDSwiss CRO Andreas Andreou (thePropTrade), ex CMTrading exec Giorgos Piskopianos (PropXP), and James Glyde’s (ex Spotware) PipFarm.
