FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker TIOmarkets has hired Montevideo, Uruguay based executive Ariel Petraroia, as Regional Director of LATAM.

Ariel Petraroia joins TIOmarkets from rival broker Traders Trust, where he worked for the past six years in a similar role, implementing a marketing and business development strategy for the LATAM region for Trader Trust.

TIOmarkets has made a number of senior hires recently, including IC Markets and IronFX alum Andreas Skianis as Head of Partners, and former M4Markets and HotForex exec Nick Jay who joined TIOmarkets earlier this year as COO.

TIOmarkets operates an onshore FCA regulated business (at website tiomarkets.uk) and CySEC licensed Tiomarkets CY Ltd (tiomarkets.eu), as well as an offshore unit based in Mwali (tiomarkets.com). The company is run by Cyprus based Group CEO Stefanos Mitsi. TIOmarkets is controlled by Malaysian businessman Manmohan Singh Balbir Singh, who also owns Cyprus based Retail FX broker FXPrimus.
