Chris Demetriou rejoins Capital.com in Dubai to head MENA sales

FNG has learned that experienced FX and CFDs industry executive Chris Demetriou has returned to leading online broker Capital.com, as Head of Sales MENA.

Chris Demetriou previously worked for Capital.com in London from 2021-2023, as Head of UK Sales. After leaving Capital.com he spent a year at CMC Markets as a Premium Client Manager, before last year joining London based commodities trading house Onyx Capital Group as Head of Client Management for Onyx’s retail brokerage arm. Chris has also previously worked at XTB UK, and at ATA Research.

The MENA region has become Capital.com’s largest market, with the company reporting that clients at Capital.com UAE generated $469 billion of the group’s overall $1.7 trillion in trading volumes for 2024.

Gerald is one of the most experienced writers covering the online trading sector.
