FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Anca Ioana Ionescu, one of the best known and respected names in the human resources and operations fields in the Cyprus FX world, has left NAGA Group to join rival Retail FX broker Traders Trust. At Traders Trust she will be Head Of Human Resources.

Ms. Ionescu spent just five months at NAGA, also as head of HR. NAGA Group has hit something of a snag in trying to build up its Cyprus operation. Hamburg, Germany based NAGA trades as a public company on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FRA:N4G), but operates its naga.com website via Cyprus based, CySEC licensed Naga Markets Ltd. We recently reported exclusively that NAGA also saw the departure of its Cyprus based COO George Stylianou after less than a year on the job.

Anca Ioana Ionescu has been working in HR and operations for Retail FX brokers for more than a decade. Before joining NAGA earlier this year she was Human Resources and Operations Manager at Orbex. She had also previously worked for EuropeFX and IronFX, where she was Global Offices Manager from 2011-2017.
