Spreadex revenues, profits unchanged but cash flows rise in FY 2025
UK based financial spreadbetting and sports betting firm Spreadex has released its results for fiscal year 2025 (May 31 year end), indicating fairly flat top and bottom line results after a record 2024 which saw Spreadex top the £100 million revenue mark for the first time.
FY2025 results
Revenues at Spreadex came in at £104.6 million in FY2025, up by 1% from £103.3 million in 2024. Net profit fell slightly, by 2%, from £32.4 million in 2024 to £31.7 million.
But overall, another fairly strong year for Spreadex.

2025 marked the end of Spreadex’s 25th full financial year. The company said that investments made in FY22 to FY24, in the foundations required for long term growth, have again driven year-on-year increases in both revenue and profit (before tax), whilst the underlying fundamentals of the business remain strong.
Football sponsorships
The Board’s intention to grow all areas of the business in the near- and medium-term remains. To facilitate this, Spreadex has continued to invest in the business, most significantly in marketing, via branding and sponsorship activity with a focus on Championship football. Spreadex sponsorships include Sheffield United FC, and Watford FC.
Increased dividends
Despite the near-identical revenue and profit results achieved, Spreadex significantly increased the dividends it paid out to shareholders in FY2025, at £25.5 million, up by 61% from £15.8 million paid in 2024. The company attributed the increased dividend payout to strong cash flows achieved in FY2025. Spreadex reduced amounts owed to it by Debtors by more than £65 million in FY2025, with the increased collections hitting incoming cash flow after a £25 million reduction in amounts owed to Creditors.
Shareholders
Spreadex’s largest shareholders are Bourne Leisure founder Peter Harris, and company founder Jonathan Hufford, with neither having a full controlling stake in the company. The company is run by CEO David Mackenzie.
