Robinhood continues EU push becoming front-of-shirt sponsor for OGC Nice
Continuing a recent concerted push to increase its brand and business in the EU, US based neobroker Robinhood Markets Inc (NASDAQ:HOOD) has announced that it is becoming the principal partner for France based football club Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice – commonly referred to as OGC Nice – starting in 2025/26.
The multi-year partnership will see Robinhood become front-of-shirt sponsor in domestic and European competitions for OGC Nice’s men’s and women’s first teams. OGC Nice placed fourth in France’s Ligue 1 in the 2024/25 season.
The move follows the recent introduction by Robinhood of a suite of new products targeting EU customers such as US stock and ETF tokens and perpetual futures.
The agreement with OGC Nice marks Robinhood’s first major entry into European football, and features a fully integrated brand activation strategy. Beyond the match kits, the partnership includes high-visibility exposure across training and warm-up kits, stadium visual assets and digital ecosystems. Robinhood will also work with players and ambassadors, powering original branded content, including a dedicated web series and campaigns promoting fan engagement and a new era of financial empowerment.
