Offshore (Mauritius) domiciled Retail FX and CFDs broker Ultima Markets has announced that the company has secured a regulatory license to operate under the United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), with plans to establish a regulated presence in the UK. Ultima Markets, until now focused mainly on clients in China and the Far East, plans to onboard UK clients from 2026, and is slated to launch a localized UK offering.
eToro shares tumble 8% to below IPO price after Q2 results report. Online broker eToro Group Ltd (NASDAQ:ETOR) had one of its worst days since becoming a publicly traded company two months ago, as its shares tumbled by 8% on Tuesday to close at $50.74. This marks the first time that eToro shares have traded (and indeed closed) below the company’s $52 IPO price.
Doo Group offshore CFDs arm rebrands as D Prime. Doo Prime, the offshore Retail FX and CFDs brokerage arm of Singapore based Doo Group, has announced a rebranding to just “D Prime”. The Mauritius and Vanuatu domiciled broker, whose website remains dooprime.com, said that the rebrand is about redefining how it connects with clients, partners, and the broader fintech community.

Leading Switzerland based online banking and trading provider Swissquote (SWX:SQN) has published its financial results for the first half of 2025, with the company seeing record Revenue and Net Profit figures for a six month period – for the sixth time in a row! Crypto asset income increased by +22.7% to CHF 43.1 million (or 12% of total Revenue at Swissquote in H1 2025), thanks to higher crypto volumes.
