Exclusive: True Forex Funds plans prop trading relaunch next week
FNG Exclusive… Following our exclusive report from last week that Hungary based online prop trading firm True Forex Funds had ceased operating, after MT4 / MT5 operator MetaQuotes terminated its trading platform licenses, FNG has learned that the company plans to restart operations next week.
At the time of the initial shutdown, True Forex Funds CEO Richard Nagy posted a note on the company’s website (which was, and remains, otherwise down), that the True Forex Funds “team” was working hard on a plan to continue providing its services, without providing a specific timeline.
Now, True Forex Funds is indicating on its (otherwise dormant) website that service will resume the week of February 19, i.e. next week. The company didn’t provide any more details regarding a replacement tech and trading platform provider for MT4/MT5, or any more specifics on its planned relaunch.
However True Forex Funds CEO Richard Nagy reportedly stated on Discord (see at right) that True Forex Funds has applied for a new MetaTrader license, and that the company is currently working on a feature that will migrate clients’ accounts (if desired) to cTrader.
We will continue to follow this story as it develops.
