CFDs broker WeTrade sponsors PSG
Retail FX and CFDs broker WeTrade is continuing its EU push, announcing a new multi-year sponsorship of popular French football club PSG, running through 2028.
WeTrade, which holds an ASIC license in Australia as well as operating offshore entities in Labuan (Malaysia) and Seychelles, was recently granted a CySEC CIF license in Cyprus (for Wetrade International Cy Limited) and plans to soon launch services across Europe.
The broker, which until now had been focused mainly on the Chinese and Far East markets, has hired a number of senior personnel in Cyprus including former IQ Option and LegacyFX executive George Miltiadous as CEO of WeTrade EU. Former ETX Capital and Ultima Markets Cyprus executive Noura Epaminonda has also joined, and the company added former TrioMarkets, CMTrading and eToro marketing specialist Lewis Stainton as Head of Marketing.
