FNG has learned that market data and charting company NetDania has promoted Rasmus Bagger-Petersen to the position of Co-CEO of the company. The company’s other Co-CEO is founder Thomas Elster.

Rasmus Bagger-Petersen joined NetDania last year as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), after working for four years in institutional sales at Saxo Bank.

Founded in 1998, NetDania pioneered streaming price technology. With a strong position within corporate FX and trading, its products are increasingly used by Tier 1 banks, brokers, currency managers and analysts as alternatives to expensive legacy systems for trading, news and analysis. The company provides market data, APIs, market terminals, and charting components on both desktop and mobile. Christian Frahm’s fintech acquisition platform United Fintech acquired a majority stake in NetDania in November 2020.
