Exclusive: Kraig Noble on the launch of AxiPrime
FNG Exclusive Interview… Following our report from earlier this month that leading Australia based FX and CFDs brokerage Axi was launching AxiPrime as its institutional and next-generation B2B liquidity provider to meet the evolving needs of professional trading firms, we’re pleased to catch up today with Kraig Noble, Axi’s London based Head of Trading who will be heading up the day-to-day at AxiPrime, and find out more about the launch, what AxiPrime has in store, and a whole lot more.
FNG: Hi Kraig, and thanks for joining us today. Please let us know a little more about AxiPrime, and your decision to expand Axi’s traditional retail business into liquidity and prime brokerage solutions.
Kraig: Hi, and thanks for having me.
AxiPrime is Axi’s newly launched Institutional arm offering multi-asset liquidity in the brokerage space via extensive unified price feeds.
Its something we’ve been working on in the background for a few years and we’ve now reached the stage where we feel we can offer our clients a fully comprehensive product that is at the cutting edge of technology and provides our client base with the ability to simultaneously save on internal costs whilst optimising revenue at the same time.
Our retail arm has been through a substantial growth phase over the past decade and sees no signs of slowing down – So now seems a perfect time to build our presence in the B2B space alongside it.
FNG: What are your main target markets? What kind of clients are you looking to work with?
Kraig: The main markets we are looking to cover are FX, commodities, Metals, Single Stocks, Cryptos and Indices. We are really offering a true multi-asset level product suite.
I’d say the main target markets for our product is going to be brokers and institutional clients looking for high performance tech, diverse access and seamless execution across all asset classes.
We’ve already found that the clients that benefit from our offering the most are those looking to optimise their liquidity stack, enhance their trading infrastructure and expand their core product offering to their own client base.
That isn’t to say we won’t look beyond those two categories of clients – Just they are the main target audience for this project.
FNG: How did your partnership with Your Bourse come about?
Kraig: As Axi was developing the AxiPrime institutional liquidity platform, we prioritised ultra-low-latency execution, multi-asset liquidity aggregation, and rock-solid infrastructure. To achieve these ambitious performance and scalability goals, we needed a technology provider with proven excellence in high-frequency trading environments.

FNG: The liquidity/PB space, especially those who serve FX and CFDs brokers, seems to be somewhat crowded, with a number of well-capitalised, entrenched incumbents. How will you look to differentiate AxiPrime, as a preferred partner for brokers, prop firms, hedge funds, and others in the business?
Kraig: That statement’s definitely correct! It seems that the space has become very crowded, especially over the past couple of years.
The way we differ ourselves from our peers, primarily lays within the execution and commercial aspect of our product.
With tailored liquidity, transparent pricing, low-latency execution and hands-on support, AxiPrime is designed to grow with you — offering the flexibility and performance legacy providers can’t match.

FNG: What changes do you see on the horizon for the online trading industry? How is AxiPrime planning to position itself as the industry evolves?
Kraig: It would be remiss of me not to talk to the rise of AI in the Trading space.
The rise of AI is rapidly transforming the trading landscape. From predictive analytics and sentiment analysis to algorithmic execution and risk management, AI is enabling firms to process vast amounts of market data and make faster, more informed decisions. As strategies become more data-driven and execution speeds accelerate, AI is no longer a competitive advantage — it’s becoming a baseline expectation. At the same time, firms must balance this technological leap with oversight and control, ensuring transparency and compliance as regulators begin to scrutinise AI-driven trading more closely.
