A new multi-asset liquidity provider for brokers called BidX Markets, run by Simon Blackledge and Antoon Gysbers, has announced its official launch today.

Regulated by the FCA, BidX Markets says that its innovative market neutral and tailored solution connects brokers, asset managers and funds to industry leading Tier 1 liquidity, connectivity and distribution services.

As noted above BidX Markets was founded by Simon Blackledge, who has run MT4/MT5 white label solutions provider itexsys for the past seven years. Joining him at BidX is his longtime itexsys counterpart Antoon Gysbers. The difference between their old venture, itexsys, and this new one, seems to be that itexsys focused on providing platform and tech solutions for brokers (and those who want to start a new broker via an MT4/5 white label), while FCA-regulated BidX is focused on being a liquidity solutions provider, while also providing the platform/white label piece if clients want that as well.

Blackledge explains that BidX Markets was created in response to client demands, who were seeking a viable and tailored alternative for their liquidity needs. FCA regulation was granted at the beginning of 2021 for BidX, with the company then selecting to prioritise the building of robust core systems combined with continuous testing with a handful of clients across various segments. This methodical approach has resulted in BidX creating what it calls a sector leading liquidity product and service built upon trust, resilience and integrity.

As part of the official launch, BidX Markets said it already boasts an “impressive roster” of broker clients and also introduces technology partners, including Beeks Financial Cloud, Your Bourse, and Gold-i.
