United Fintech appoints Anders Johansen as Chief People Officer
Broker and bank technology provider United Fintech has announced that it has appointed Anders Peter Kierbye Johansen as Chief People Officer (CPO), stepping into the Executive Leadership Team. In this newly created role, Anders will drive the group’s people strategy, supporting the company’s rapid growth across its global offices in London, Copenhagen, New York, Singapore, Dubai, Madrid, Berlin, Craiova, and Oslo.
Based in Copenhagen and reporting directly to founder and CEO Christian Frahm, Anders will work with the leadership team to lead initiatives aimed at building a cohesive and scalable organisational culture, as well as optimising operational efficiency across United Fintech and its partner companies.
Anders brings extensive experience from leadership roles in rapidly scaling organisations, specialising in culture transformation, leadership development, talent management, and integrating acquisitions. Most recently, as Chief People and Culture Officer at the Mærsk McKinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, he successfully scaled the organisation and fostered a high-engagement culture. Previously, he served nine years as Global HR Director at Unity Technologies (Product and Engineering Divisions), overseeing growth from 200 to 8,000 employees, managing integrations of multiple acquisitions, and supporting Unity’s IPO in 2020.
Christian Frahm, CEO of United Fintech, said,
“Great companies are built by extraordinary people and fuelled by exceptional culture. Anders brings a rare combination of experience and instinct for building high-performance teams and unlocking their full potential during hyper-growth. He’s exactly the kind of people-leader we need to take United Fintech into our next phase of innovation and impact. We’re thrilled to have him join us on the journey.”
Anders Johansen, CPO of United Fintech added,
“I’m excited to join United Fintech to help unlock its exponential growth potential. To accomplish this, we need to set a bold vision and drive and implement a people strategy that ensures we have an aligned and consistent United Fintech organisation and culture, to develop, retain, and attract exceptional talent. United Fintech is a dynamic innovator, and I am looking forward to playing a role in driving the people strategy as we continue to scale.”
