FNG has learned that US neobroker Robinhood (NASDAQ:HOOD) has taken another step in bolstering its crypto business, hiring Nejc Bizjak as Director of Strategy and Operations – Crypto.

Nejc Bizjak joins Robinhood in its New York office after spending the past eight years with crypto exchange operator Bitstamp, serving as Head of Strategy and Business Operations at Bitstamp for the past four years.

Earlier this year Robinhood hired Gaëtan Thabot to head crypto partnerships.

While crypto trading related Revenues only made up 17% of Robinhood’s Q4 total income, Robinhood stock seems to move up and down in tandem with crypto prices and trading volumes.
