FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that seasoned FX research analyst Ahmed Negm has “changed teams”, leaving Orbex for FBS.

Based in Cairo, Egpyt, Ahmed Negm was Head of the Research Department at Orbex Egypt since 2018, and has also been involved in FX sales in Egypt and the Gulf region. Prior to joining FBS Mr. Negm worked at One Financial Markets, Earnex DMCC, Admiral Markets, and Falcon Brokers, dating back to 2012.

FBS operates both an offshore, Belize domiciled business and a CySEC licensed subsidiary Tradestone Limited. The company is managed mainly from Cyprus and from Saint Petersburg, Russia, and also has a significant presence it is trying to continue to build in the Arabic speaking world. FBS recently signed a three-year deal to become the main “shirt” sponsor of EPL football club Leicester City.
