Estonia based Retail FX and CFDs broker Admirals Group AS has announced that it has appointed Juri Kartakov as a new member of the Supervisory Board of the Company, effective from 01.10.2024. The Supervisory Board is equivalent to the company’s Board of Directors.

Juri Kartakov has been associated with the Admirals group since 2009, having previously also served on the Supervisory Board of the Company (2009-2010, 2014-2016, 2017-2018) and on subsidiary Admiral Markets AS Management (2009-2014) and Supervisory Boards (2015-2017). Functionally, Juri served as Admirals’ Responsible Manager – Admiral Markets Pty in Australia from 2015 until leaving Admirals in 2021.

After departing Admirals, Juri set up and now runs an FX and CFDs industry HR recruiting agency called Finwizard (website finwizard.org).

In a separate move, operating subsidiary Admiral Markets AS has appointed Aleksandr Ljubovski as a new member of the Management Board of the Company, effective from 01.11.2024. Aleksandr’s primary area of responsibility will be Head of Risk Management. Aleksandr Ljubovski has been associated with the Admirals group since 2010, having previously served on the Management Board (2013-2017) and the Supervisory Board (2017-2018) of Admiral Markets AS. Aleksandr holds no management positions outside the Admirals group.

In the first half of 2024, Admirals Group completed an overhaul of its senior management ranks, with longtime CEO Sergei Bogatenkov and the company’s Executive Director in Cyprus, Andreas Ioannou, both leaving the company. Company founder Alexander Tsikhilov has taken over the CEO role at Admirals.
