Exclusive: Trading 212 Chairman Andrew Bole steps down
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that longtime Trading 212 board of directors member and Chairman Andrew Bole has resigned his role with the company.
Andrew Bole had served as Chairman of Bulgaria/London based retail online broker Trading 212 since 2020. We reported exclusively late last year that Andrew had also stepped down from the board of institutional multi-asset brokerage Britannia Global Markets Limited, where he also served as non-executive Chairman.
Andrew Bole was the Chief Risk Officer (or CRO) at UK industry leading online brokerage IG Group (LON:IGG) for 15 years, from 2000-2015. After leaving IG he joined prime broker GPP Group as the company’s COO. In 2018 he joined Schroders Personal Wealth as Head of Process, leaving in September 2020.
Trading 212 is controlled by Bulgarian entrepreneurs Borislav Nedialkov and Ivan Ashminov, and operates licensed subsidiaries in the UK, Australia, Germany, Bulgaria, and Cyprus. The company is run day-to-day by London based CEO Mukid Chowdhury.
