FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that experienced FX industry compliance executive Simon Henry has joined Exinity, as the broker’s new Head of Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
Simon Henry joins Exinity from Capital.com, where he was Head of Compliance and MLRO for the past two years. Exinity was formally launched in June 2020, as an umbrella group comprising the various retail FX/CFD businesses owned by Andrey Dashin including Alpari International, ForexTime (FXTM), money transfer service AcruPay, as well as a soon-to-be-launched new retail offering under the Exinity name. Exinity underwent a management overhaul last year, with former Gain Capital and LMAX exec Lex Webster promoted to co-CEO of Exinity Group alongside Olga Rybalkina. Nicholas Defteras, formerly Chief Administrative Officer, assumed the role of COO, with longtime Alpari/FXTM executives George Kyriakoudes (CFO) and Valeriya Kolesnik (COO) leaving the company.
