FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that there has been a change in the C-Suite at leading Dubai based online trading firm Equiti Group, with Sean Hong being promoted to become Equiti’s Group CFO.

Sean Hong first joined Equiti Group in 2023 from Plus500, where he was CFO of Plus500 Australia, relocating in the process from Sydney to Dubai. For the past two years he served as Equiti’s Global Head of Finance.

Sean Hong replaces Rick Fulton in the CFO’s chair at Equiti Group. Rick had been CFO of Equiti since 2018, joining Equiti after serving as CFO of social trading provider Ayondo. We understand that Rick is now becoming Chief Risk and Audit Officer at the company.

Equiti Group has made a few recent senior management changes and additions, including the hiring of FxPro veteran Yiannos Xenophontos as Group Head of Trading, and Ahmed Azzam as Head of Market Research.
